Oh wow...I was looking through some old posts on this forum and noticed that you had mentioned this already DashN. I have to pay more attention to these Gear Talk posts.

Go to the link I posted though everybody and push for an AU plug-in version to "liberate" the Fairlight CMI app from the iOS devices (i.e., iPad and iPhone).
I would encourage everybody to post a request for an AU plug-in for the Mac on the forum you will find on that page. I did so and they are considering doing so given the response I received. Start a new post instead of just adding to mine. My sense is that your requests will get more attention as new posts instead of just additional responses to my original one.

Thanks, you're very kind. I've hardly begun to experiment with Diva and there'll be a lot of future patches coming for it so stay tuned. I'll be getting into it come this winter and spring.

I'm a huge fan of Urs Heckman. The guy is a genius, literally. Diva is a great synth for you, because it has the best VA sound yet, you can mix and match classic sections, and Urs has worked hard to keep the interface familiar and not too complex. I own his Zebra, ACE and Diva synths and the only other VA I need now is Massive, which so far is still the best for sync sweep. Massive's sync is very rich in harmonics and it's the only synth I've found that allows you to sync three oscillators simultaneously, so the "guitar" sound I get with it is very intense.

Diva sounds closer to a Minimoog D than Moog Voyager imo. Remember, Urs has definite plans to model the SEM for Diva, and all upgrades are free. Patience will be needed though because he's a small shop and will next turn his attention to Zebra and his next new synth Bazille.

Hi Gonga,

I've downloaded the Diva VST and it really sounds terrific. I've found your patches in there as well. Sound great! Thanks. Sometimes I wonder if you aren't the man himself No kidding.

I'm a guy 38 years old and at the time that all these great analog synth wizards and gear was at it's top I was a very young kid. At the time Jan Hammer composed the music for Miami Vice I started discovering his music before that time and I was sold. Unfortunately at that time I had no clue what synthesizers he had been using except for the DX7. Internet didn't exist and as a kid I hadn't the money to buy anything but some guitarstrings

I played a Yamaha Organ at that time and my parents bought me a Yamaha DX7 as an addition. Of course it was top of the bill at that time and I was sold. The choice of the DX7 came from the Music Store salesman recommending it. May parents didn't have a clue either except for the fact that I'd fancy a Synthesizer. So I really never had the chance to test all these analog beasts. Perhaps when I was older at that time and had the money myself I would have chosen a beast as the Roland Jupiter 8 or a Moog or Prophet. But on the other hand I was extremely happy with my DX7 which became the synth of the 80s.

And now most of the stuff I could have bought when I was older at that time are now hard to find or far too expensive. So the chances for me to play with the real analog stuff is something out of my reach at the moment.

Which brings me to the point that when comparing different stuff from several analog VSTs the Diva really stands out positively when listening to the warmth and deepness of the sound. I don't know if this is the original analog feel but it definitely sounds different from what I had until now.
I think I will buy the Diva.

Thanks again Gonga for your (musical) contributions. I do not know what physical challenges you have to endure, but I hope you are able to keep playing and producing. Have a great time doing your thing and hope to hear something from you soon.
Hi all,

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been here!

I recently found Chipwarrior's cover of the intro theme to Dark Angel the other day, but I can't find any of DashN's version - I get the impression there's been a few?

Anyone know where I can get my hands on them?

Thanks in advance,
