I have been playing around with the Jupiter 8 VST and have been having a blast with some of the random arps
These are pretty much all done with the Jupe 8, with a couple of "real" DX7 sounds thrown in for embelishment.

The step sequencer can make some interesting patterns, I usually write my own the old fashioned way since I am used to it. I dig the galaxy modulator. I too am using the V2 as well as the original and all the betas. They seem to play well in Windows 7 and the more memory you have the better your can stack em. Just be careful if you have a lot of them and switch parameters on the fly... it will bite you with a crash....and it is the crash master in mac.
I have been looking for a way to program the specific filters so they can be modified as if you were sliding a control while doing it live. |

whats it like on CPU this vst?
also, are those tweaked presets in your demo or did you make the sounds yourself?

there are tons of presets that are easily modified...you'll spend some time playing with the settings...
I definitely recommend a monster processor and a lot of RAM... I have a dedicated machine for this VST
